It was founded in the year 1985 by the Vellalar Educational
Trust with a vision to impart quality technical education to
rural and semi-urban youth. Strategically located just 3 km
from Aralvoimozhi and 12 km from Nagercoil, the college boasts
seamless connectivity and a tranquil campus setting. Sprawled
across 35 acres, it houses state-of-the-art infrastructure,
high-tech laboratories, and modern classrooms, all designed to
foster experiential learning.
Initially launched with just three diploma courses, the
institution has grown significantly and now offers six diploma
programs in core engineering disciplines. With a sanctioned
student strength of 990 and a dedicated team of 51 faculty
members, KNSKPT stands as a beacon of excellence and
opportunity.
