All diploma programs at Kalaivanar N.S.K. Polytechnic College (KNSKPT) are designed as three-year full-time courses, following the academic framework prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamil Nadu and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Each semester includes a balanced mix of:
Core theoretical subjects
Practical lab sessions
Seminars and internal assessments
Industrial visits and project assignments

The medium of instruction for all diploma programs at KNSKPT is English.

While English is the official medium, faculty members provide bilingual (Tamil & English) academic support to ensure students from rural backgrounds are able to grasp the content comfortably during their early semesters.
